The Russian opponent Alexeï Navalny published Tuesday, an investigation which he says demonstrates the corruption of Vladimir Putin and his entourage to provide the Russian president with a real “palace”.
The publication is accompanied by a call for Russians to demonstrate against the power on Saturday.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov immediately dismissed the accusations, claiming that “this is not true”, while adding that he had not yet heard the details of this investigation.
The 1.12-billion-euro palace on the Black Sea is said to also include vineyards, an ice hockey enclosure or a casino. It would have been financed, according to the opponent, by relatives of the Russian president, such as Rosneft boss Igor Setchine or the businessman Gennadi Timtchenko.
According to Mr. Navalny, 100 billion rubble (1.12 billion euros) were spent to build this complex, whose total area is said to be 7,000 hectares, and which is owned by the FSB (Russian secret services).
The existence of this palace and its alleged ties to Vladimir Putin first emerged in 2010, and several journalistic investigations have pointed to embezzlement.
The authorities, in particular the spokesperson for Mr. Putin, have repeatedly denied in recent years any link between this property and the Russian president.
Alexei Navalny, was arrested Sunday at a Moscow airport on his return after five months of convalescence in Germany.

L’opposant au gouvernement russe Alexei Aavalny a publié mardi une enquête dans laquelle il dit démontrer la corruption de Vladimir Poutine et de son entourage à propos du véritable palace qui lui appartiendrait.
La publication a été accompagnée d’un appel à la manifestation.
Le porte-parole du Kremlin Dmitry Peskov a immédiatement démenti ces accusations : « cela est faux » mais en rajoutant qu’il n’avait pas encore consulté tous les détails de l’enquête.
La propriété a 1,12 milliards d’euros au bord de la Mer Noire comprendrait en outre des vignobles, un casino et une enceinte de hockey sur glace sur 7000 hectares.
Elle aurait, selon Navalny, été financée par des amis du président russe tels que le PDG de Rosnef Igor Setchine ou encore l’homme d’affaires Gennadi Timtchenko.
Ce complexe aurait couté 100 milliards de roubles (1,12 milliards d’euros) et appartiendrait officiellement au FSB , les services de sécurité russes.
Des journalistes avaient déjà révélé l’existence de ce palais et de possibles détournements de fonds en 2010.
Les autorités ont pourtant toujours nié un lien entre le président et cette propriété.
Alexei Navalny a été arrêté dimanche après son retour d’Allemagne ou il était en train de se faire soigner.
