While Western Europe is struggling for life, Russia plays badminton

Dmitry Medvedev, President of Russia, is promoting badminton in a video. He claims that badminton is a sport for those seeking success. This clip is intended to encourage children to take up sports. He promotes badminton by saying that badminton players can make quick decisions and that they have the will to achieve success. In the video, Medvedev is dressed like a badminton player, and then the clip shows a match between Vladimir Putin, the Prime Minister of Russia, and Medvedev.
Some people are taking advantage of this video, for example the country’s badminton association, but some others are having fun. Dmitry Yermolayev for instance, believes that the President should be more worried about issues like the Russian economy than the Physical Education syllabus.
In Russia, it is common for politicians to promote sports. The best known among them, Vladimir Putin, the former and probably soon-to-be President, is multiplying his press appearances as a perfect athlete skilled at judo, fishing and skiing.

Portrait of Marie

Marie loves dancing. It's her passion, but she's not so interested in music, even if she loves singing and sings very well.

She also used to draw, but she stopped.

What she hates more than everything is spiders. Marie has her temper: she is who she is. If you love her, that's good, if you don't, she doesn't care. She very rarely gets upset but when she's upset, she's really upset and nothing can stop her. She hates people who judge others and people who feel superior and she can't stand injustice. She likes people who make her laugh and honest people. She's herself very loyal. She's also a generous, lovely and funny person, someone you can rely on.

Portrait of Claire

First, I think it's important for you to know that Claire is one of the nicest people I have ever known.
Although it can be a quality but also a vice, she is a very outspoken person and she is never afraid to tell somebody what she thinks.
Once, she told me that her greatest fear is to suffer. I know what you all think: sometimes she is really that philosophical.
If she was a super hero with super powers, she would like to read mind. For the time being, she just uses with her cell phone a lot.
Claire is also the kind of person who would have loved to live during May 1968 in France.

Portrait of Hortense

Generous Hortense is always happy and loves laughing maybe that’s why she hates boys who haven’t got any sense of humor.

She likes her eyes very much and her blond hair too. Listening to rock and pop is her favorite occupation although she’s often hanging out with her friends and watching TV shows.
