Last week, a two Russian men were sentenced 12 days in prison after
fighting with Celtic fans before a Champion’s League match in Glasgow.
Two men,
Alexey Fedorov and Alexsey Filatov, 22 and 36 were both sentenced to 12 days of
prison after admitting breaching the peace and assaulting the police before
attending a soccer game in Glasgow.
Both of their sentences were backdated to 6th
December, so the Glasgow sheriff released them last week.
In addition
to these sentences, the Scottish sheriff ordered an 18 month soccer game ban in
the UK.
On the night
of the match, the police followed a large group of Spartak Moscow supporters,
and ended up having to end big fights between the Russian supporters and the
Scottish supporters.
They found
Filatov punching several Celtic fans, and had to arrest him, but with many
difficulties. The policemen found Fedorov while forcing a group of Celtic
supporters back: he was punching fans, and starting kicking a police officer.
Filatov’s
lawyer explained that his client was not part of the group, and decided to join
them, because he felt “intimidated by the Celtic fans.”

La semaine dernière, deux russes ont été condamnés à 12 jours
de prison après s’être battu avec des
fans des Celtics avant un match de la ligue des Champions à Glasgow.
Deux hommes, Alexey Fedorov et Alexsey Filatov, 22 ans
et 36 ans, ont tous deux été condamnés à 12 jours de prison après avoir
avoué avoir violé enfreint la paix et avoir agressé la police avant un
match de football a Moscow.
Leurs sentences ont été reculé au 6 Décembre, donc le sheriff
de Glasgow les a libérés la semaine dernière.
En plus de ces sentences, le sheriff écossais a ordonné une interdiction
d’assister aux matchs de football dans le Royaume Uni.
Le soir du match, la police a suivi un grand groupe de
supporters du Spartak Moscow et ont dû mettre fin à de grandes bagarres entre
les supporters russes et les supporters écossais.
Ils ont trouvé Filatov en train de frapper plusieurs fans des
Celtics, et ont dû l’arrêter, mais non sans difficultés. Les policiers ont
trouvé Fedorov pendant qu’ils forçaient un groupe de supporters des Celtics à
reculer : il était en train de frapper des fans, et commençait à donner des
coups de pieds a un policier.
L’avocat de Filatov a expliqué que son client ne faisait pas
partie du groupe, et a décidé de les rejoindre parce qu’il se sentait
« intimidé pas les fans des Celtics. »
